The Blowtops, a band hailing from the seamy underbelly of America’s garage rock emporium, Buffalo, NY. Over the years The Blowtops have been releasing single after single, album after album of creepy, lowdown, vile driven horror rock. They’ve begun to understand that change in music is inevitable and embraced the chaos that is change! They dropped their bassist, tossed out a guitar, and added keyboards to their sound. The Blowtops reinvented themselves and in this new emergence brought the world of horror-driven garage rock to a whole new leve. “Insected Mind” is their first release. It’s scope is fantastic in the undertaking, how to rewrite music and rebirth a band for a totally new sound, yet not loose the wickedness, the evil, and the fear that their music has invoked in the past.
